These pics are the bore upgrade for the KLR, and the awesome port and valve clean-up my buddy Luke did for me. Basically this modification is primarily done to cure the 2008 model years propensity to burn oil at higher RPM's, but the side benefits are decreased vibration, and a wee extra bit of power. The build quality of this kit is amazing, and it comes with high praise all across the USA. Schnitz racing is the manufacturer, and everything comes with the kit. All you need is to find a reputable shop for the machining, and you're heading in the right direction.
